How can I manage my own or my company's e-mail account settings?
- Go to http://www.itworks-software.com/mailadmin/
- Log in with your e-mail address and e-mail password.
- Follow the instructions to set up account rules, auto-responders, forwards, and other settings.
- If we have designated you as the administrator, you will also be able to add new mail boxes and manage the settings for others in your organization.
How can I access my e-mail remotely?
How can I access my e-mail from my desktop?
If we are your e-mail provider, we support mail using Outlook, Outlook Express, Opera, Netscape, and Mozilla Thunderbird. Typically, this is the information required:
- POP3 servername: mail.[your_domain_name]
- SMTP servername: mail.[your_domain_name]
- Username: [your full e-mail address]
- Password: [the password given to you]
How can I make changes to my website?
- Obtain a copy of an FTP (file transfer protocol) software package. (See Stuff We Like)
- Hostname: ftp.[your_domain_name]
- We create a special username and password for you, which is different from your e-mail account.
- Once connected, you will see two directories. The www directory is where your site is, the other directory contains your daily web traffic logs. You may read the logs but cannot change or delete them, but you have full control of files in the www directory. We back up all servers on Sunday mornings between midnight and 2:00 am.
